Solution

SMS marketing for online stores

SMS almost always gets opened — which is exactly why it is the easiest way to lose a customer. RevOrder runs it as a channel with rules, not as a bulk send.

Segments, not lists

Audiences are defined by behaviour and order history and recalculate themselves, instead of going stale in a static file.

STOP handled automatically

A STOP reply opts the recipient out immediately and across the whole account — not just the campaign that reached them.

Revenue per message

Clicks and orders are tied back to the specific send, so you see revenue rather than delivery counts.

Your domain in the links

Short links can run on a domain of your own instead of one the recipient does not recognise.

Why SMS forgives less than email

One unnecessary email gets ignored. One unnecessary SMS at the wrong hour gets remembered, and an SMS opt-out is usually final — someone who has replied STOP rarely comes back.

So the channel only works under two conditions: the message is targeted and the frequency is controlled. Blasting the whole list is the most expensive way to spend your most expensive channel.

Consent and opt-out

Opt-outs apply across the account, not per campaign. If someone declines, the platform does not message them again — including from another campaign or automation.

Permanent suppressions from complaints or invalid numbers are not quietly lifted on the next send. That is deliberate: a list that cleans itself is a list you can trust.

How to launch a campaign

  1. 1

    Pick a segment

Define the audience by behaviour or order history instead of sending to everyone.

  2. 2

    Write the message

The editor shows the length and how the link will render before anything is sent.

  3. 3

    Schedule the send

A campaign goes out now or on a schedule, and automations fire from events in the store.

  4. 4

    Report the revenue

Orders are tied back to the send, so you know what it earned.

Questions about SMS marketing

What does one SMS cost?

SMS is billed by usage and the price depends on the recipient's country and the provider. Your plan sets your rate — Growth and Pro are lower than Free. The exact figures are on the pricing page.

How are opt-outs handled?

A STOP reply opts the recipient out immediately and across the whole account. The opt-out is not tied to the campaign it came from, so they will not hear from other automations either.

Can I use my own sender name?

Yes, where the operators in that country allow it. It is configured at the account level.

How do I know if SMS is making money?

Every send carries its own click tracking, and orders placed afterwards are attributed back to it. The report shows revenue, not just messages delivered.
